The A5.3 experimental decryption module is designed as an accessory for passive and active GSM monitoring systems. Required for operation in countries with GSM A5.3 session coding.
A5.3 encoding is a stream cipher that is used for privacy over the air (OTA) in the GSM cellular standard. As a result, all OTA data is covered by the KC session key. Once the KC is discovered, the entire GSM session can be restored for voice, SMS recording, etc.
In total, the System occupies approximately a 40-ton container of FPGA computers
