The main functions and characteristics
Using a special antenna, the DMR-800L is the only IsatM2M terminal on the market specifically designed for maritime applications.
FLEET TRACKING
As a low-cost alternative to other maritime tracking products, the DMR-800L offers many of the same features including integrated GPS; data reporting by schedule or events; polling or over-the-air programming capabilities to request instant GPS location or change reporting intervals; two-way communication; geofencing to identify areas of interest and program special reporting intervals; access to discrete input/output feeds to detect power failures or report when machinery is activated; and fully sealed and water proof enclosure.
VMS AND SSAS
Maritime fleet operators are required to meet legal and safety requirements for Vessel Monitoring Systems (VMS) and/or Ship Security Alert Systems (SSAS). The DMR-800L is a key component to ensure compliance and the security of their ships, cargo and crew anywhere in the world’s oceans. The DMR-800L exceeds all applicable International Marine Organization’s tests required to meet hardware requirements for the SSAS market.
